Once you arrive in the department, we will welcome you to Florencia, the golden gateway to the Colombian Amazon. On this first day you will enjoy the flavor of the jungle and the countryside in the Amazonian Calera. We will remember the colonial, indigenous and peasant history by visiting the Ivan Callone Ethnographic Museum in the rural area of the municipality. Finally, the 360° viewpoint opens its doors to contemplate Florence at night. Welcome dinner. Rest at the hotel.

In San José del Fragua, between the inspection of Yurayaco and Piamonte, lies a treasure: Los Portales del Fragüita. Its first settlers, the Inga and Embera Indians, came from the lower Putumayo, growing and expanding throughout the territory whose main attraction is a natural cut in the mountain that forms towering walls between rocks and vegetation. On the way to Los Portales, you will visit the Pirarucú monument in the municipality of Morelia and at the Ecotourism Farm you will bathe in the Lágrima del Gigante waterfall and the green pools that form on the Fragüita River.

Let yourself be amazed by the majestic landscape of the Andean Amazonian foothills, the mountain range and the plains. In the municipality of El Doncello where you will not only visit the highest waterfall: Anayacito and its 190 meters high, but also relax on the beach and waterfall of Fin del Estrés. At the end of the tour of El Doncello we will return to the city of Florencia for dinner and rest.

Only 18 km from the city of Florencia, Caquetá, in the village of Orteguaza, is located the Las Palmas Ecotourism Reserve, a project dedicated to the conservation and restoration of ecosystems. This experience will take you to meet a family from the region and their history “from cattle ranching to tourism”. You will learn to distinguish the different species of palms in the Amazon and their uses. You will enjoy the silence and tranquility of the Cueva de los Colores. You will arrive at the Charco del Amor and there you will be greeted by hundreds of little fish swimming peacefully under the crystal clear water. Finally, delight your palate with the exquisite seasoning of Doña Lili, a secret touch from the countryside to the table.
