In the Eastern Plains of Meta is the true jewel of Colombia “Caño Cristales”, considered one of the most beautiful rivers in the world. Through its crystalline waters you can observe yellow, blue, green, red and black tones; produced by the Macarenia Clavigera, an endemic aquatic plant that upon contact with the sun’s rays ‘paints’ our Caño Cristales River with beautiful colors.
